The Valdese Main Street Economic Vitality & Design Committees work to create a current list of available buildings in downtown and opportunties for building/business owners such as the Facade Grant Program. This information is part of an ongoing project to keep the Business Opportunities webpage updated.
Facade Grant Program - An incentive for new and exisiting buisnesses funded by the Town of Valdese. This program is organized by the Design Committee and works with business/building owners to help fund front facade renovations that are in compliance with the Secretary of Interior Standards. Window Decorating Contests - The Promotions Committee works to help promote merchants businesses as well as programs offered by the Valdese Merchants Assocation. The Valdese Merchants Assocation has offered two window decorating contests, one for Halloween and one for Christmas. This contest was created to encourage local businesses to decorate the downtown for the Holidays.
Welcome Baskets for New Businesses - The Valdese Main Street Program is working as a whole to develop welcome baskets for new businesses that move to Downtown Valdese.
