Facility/Membership Information:

The Valdese Aquatics and Fitness Center provides recreational and exercise facilities for members and walk-in visitors on a year-round basis. The pool is twenty-five yards long, with ten lanes for swim meets or lap swimming. There is a zero-entry ramp to allow visitors to walk in to the pool instead of needing to use a ladder or a lift.

The fitness center features Cybex "nautilus-style" weight training equipment, dumbbells, stair-steppers, treadmills, recumbent and traditional exercise bikes, and elliptical trainers.

Our recently renovated locker room facilities have lockers for day use or annual rental. Both men’s and women’s locker rooms feature large shower spaces, baby changing areas, and swimsuit dryers for use after you visit the pool.

Please reach out to our staff if you have any questions. We look forward to serving you at your Valdese Parks and Recreation Department!

Membership Information:

The pool and fitness memberships are structured in two categories within an in-town and out-of-town framework. Patrons who pay town taxes and live in town limits pay a lower membership fee than those who live outside of town limits. Individual memberships are for one person to take advantage of our amenities. Household memberships are for up to six members of a single household. Any additional members over six members will need to purchase an individual membership.

Aquatics members will still receive 50% off of all swim lessons, and fitness and aquatics members may participate in our core class offerings at no additional charge. Premium classes such as TRX are an additional, but discounted, charge.
