Please disregard any sewer smells in this area. If you notice low water in your toilets, flush the toilet to refill with water. This maintenance will not cause damage to your toilets. Important Message from Valdese Water Department: We will be completing routine hydrant flushing on Tuesday, March 3 in the areas of Barus Road, 827 Main Street W (Food Lion), Ledger Road, Sterling Street, Lydia Avenue, Fontaine Avenue, Bienvennue Avenue, Tron Avenue, behind Myras, Millstone Avenue, Orchard Street, Abernathy Drive, Powell Drive Extension, Pine Ridge Street. If you notice discoloration to the water in your home, flush with cold water until water runs clear. If water does not clear after 15 minutes, please call 828-879-2128.
