Please disregard any sewer smells in this area. If you notice low water in your toilets, flush the toilet to refill with water. This maintenance will not cause damage to your toilets. Important Message from Valdese Water Department: We will be completing routine hydrant flushing on Tuesday, January 28th in the areas of Lydia Avenue, Fontaine Avenue, Bienvenue Avenue, Tron Avenue, Faet Street (Myra’s), Millstone Avenue, Barus Road, Orchard Street, Abernathy Drive, Powell Drive Extension, Pine Ridge Street, Main Street W (Food Lion), Ledger Road, Flat Gap Road If you notice discoloration to the water in your home, flush with cold water until water runs clear. If water does not clear after 15 minutes, please call 828-879-2128. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our utility customers. Thank you.
