TOWN OF VALDESE PUBLIC NOTICE

(Sale of Town-Owned Property Located at 1117 Praley Street, SW, Valdese, North Carolina)

The public will take notice that the Town Council of the Town of Valdese has received and proposes to accept an offer to purchase from the Town of Valdese for the purchase price of $43,000, a parcel of land containing 0.314 acres, more or less, located at 1117 Praley Street, SW, in Valdese, North Carolina, shown in plat book 45, page 298, Burke County Registry, said parcel being part of that property described in book 2030, page 990.

Any person, within ten (10) days from the publication of this notice, may increase this bid by submitting in writing to the Town Clerk at 102 Massel Avenue SW, Valdese, North Carolina 28690, an offer increasing the amount of the bid being considered by at least ten percent (10%) of the first $1,000 and five percent (5%) of the remainder, accompanied by a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the increased bid.
