PUBLIC NOTICE
(Sale of Town-Owned Property Located at 1588 Drexel Road, Valdese, North Carolina)
The public will take notice that the Town Council of the Town of Valdese has received and proposes to accept an offer to purchase from the Town of Valdese for the purchase price of $10,000, a parcel of land located at 1588 Drexel Road, Valdese, North Carolina. This property is more particularly described as being Tract 2 described in that deed recorded in Book 271, page 620, Burke County Registry (REID 38527, PIN 2723648051).
Any person, within ten (10) days from the publication of this notice, may increase this bid by submitting in writing to the Town Clerk at 102 Massel Avenue SW, Valdese, North Carolina 28690, an offer increasing the amount of the bid being considered by at least ten percent (10%) of the first $1,000 and five percent (5%) of the remainder, accompanied by a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the increased bid.
