Please disregard any sewer smells in this area. If you notice low water in your toilets, flush the toilet to refill with water. This maintenance will not cause damage to your toilets. How are we investing in Valdese Infrastructure?

The Main Street waterline replacement project is a major part of the 10 year Capital Improvement Utility Plan. From Eldred to Hoyle Street the Main Street waterline will replace a 1930's line that has experienced breaks and leaks more frequently in recent years. We ask that you please excuse the impact this project has on traffic in downtown while it is being completed. The project will cost approximately $2.7 million that will replace 3,000 feet of 8 inch line and approximately 3,800 feet of 6 inch line.
