Request for Qualifications - Old Rock School Renovation Project
The Town desires to have a design professional determine the best implementation renovation of the historic Old Rock School. The Town anticipates a contract which will include programming, scheduling, cost estimation, architectural design, civil site design for exterior improvements, permitting, specification, bid document preparation and bidding, project administration/inspection to final certification, occupancy, and as built drawings, for the historic facility. Valdese Community Center Renovations:
Contractors are encouraged to attend scheduled pre-bid / walkthrough to see the facility and more details. In general, work consists of renovations to the main level lobby area to include new flooring; repair and painting walls, ceiling, and stairwell; restrooms; minor electrical; bottle fill station. The lower level renovations include demolition of shower areas with new showers and air circulation; toilet areas; new flooring in toilet area and corridor; repair and paint walls and ceilings; minor electrical; plumbing.
